Broken Nose
03:53
|
|||
Won't you help me heal my broken nose
Got pushed into a river
Won't you help me heal my broken nose
Got pushed into a river
I'll repeat this line until you're hating me
Won't you help give me a broken nose
Just push me in a river, set me free
Don't blame the drinks it's not their fault
Got pushed into a river
Don't blame the drinks it's not their fault
Got pushed into a river
I drunk them it was not them drunk me
Don't blame the drinks you just blame me
and my instinctive personality
The river was cold and wet with water
Trees all around
The river was cold, wet with water
Trees all around
A playing field by a forest
The forest where I took your daughter
Trees all around
Won't you call my friends and ask for help?
Got pushed into a river
Spent the evening watching candles burn
Got high on matchstick fumes
I will hold you close until you're burning me
Won't you help me put this fire out
Just push me in a river, pull me out
Won't you help me heal my broken nose
Got pushed into a river
Won't you help me heal my broken nose
Got pushed into a river
I'll repeat this line, until you're hating me
Won't you help give me a broken nose
Just push me in a river
Set me free.

Eskillater

One day i went to the supermarket or maybe it was a department store i don't know, but it doesn't make a difference to this story
I saw it there in the corner, i wanted to take it home with me, wanted to put it in my trolley, wanted to take it home
But i couldn't buy it
I couldn't buy it
So i walked right by it
Eskillater
Assistant said he couldn't swipe it
I never saw the woman with the frog you spoke of
I never danced right on the spot
But my heart skipped a beat on the first time that i saw it
And i don't want to tell you what happened the first time i rode it
I couldn't buy it
I couldn't buy it
So i walked right by it
Eskillater
And then we progressed
And it wasn't it but it was she and she filled my waking thoughts at night and if i ever wrote poetry it would be about me and if i die for anyone except myself it would be her
Then i went home and she wasn't there, i felt deserted, i felt alone, i turned into a psycho, i am a weirdo, the most messed up mess you could lay your hands on
There's only one place that i want to be and it's not where i am
I couldn't buy it
I couldn't buy it
So i walked right by it
Eskillater
I couldn't buy it
I couldn't buy it
I couldn't buy it
Eskillater

Number Twentyfive
02:54
|
|||
If i could just hold your hand for a while
Or rest my head on you to make you smile
You've gotta keep getting me up
Gotta keep getting me off
At number twentyfive that's where i spent the night
Then you call me on the phone
You tell me that you are at home
And then you ask "What do you wanna do?"
What do you wanna do?
I just want to be a single page in your diary
Just like Mr. E before
You've gotta keep getting me up
Gotta keep getting me off
At number twentyfive that's where i spent the night
Then you call me on the phone
You tell me that you are at home
And then you ask "What do you wanna do?"
What do you wanna do?
Well, i want you in your bedroom with no clothes on at all
Wrap things up and get the hell out of this town
Come on Grandpa, keep your foot off the grass

Wombait
02:41
|
|||
Was it always your stale complexion
Or your limitless liability
That was almost always part of the plan?
Even she'd feel bad when she missed her
She only remembers the first time she kissed her
Wouldn't say you're the first
But she'd tell you you're worst
Put on your red shoes and put on your freak hands
All it would take is you
She's asking me for answers I don't know but
She strikes me as walking wormbait
Swimming sideways on upside-down waterfalls
With a reckless adieu
I'm guessing she was the one that you muscled into?
Sometimes it's all the wrong people
Sometimes it's just the wrong time
Sometimes, everything's perfect and still gets declined
Put on your red shoes and put on your freak hands
All it would take is you
She's asking me for questions I don't know but
She could just be walking wormbait
Things could be so easy
Line turns to a circle
And there's nothing that we have to do except:
Put on your red shoes and put on your freak hands
All it would take is you
She's asking me for answers I don't know but
She could still be walking wormbait
Put on your red shoes and put on your freak hands
All it would take is you
He asks for answers to questions I don't know but
He could soon be walking wormbait.

Giving Up The New
04:02
|
|||
There's no goal, none at all
I'll only catch you if you start to fall
In control, in control, out of control
If no-one's here it's 'cos they're all at home
Everything to say, everything to do
Taking up the old
Giving up the new
Lives her life like a parasite
Spending her time with a hypocrite
I'll always be wrong if I say that you're right
Evaporate towards the afterlife
Everything to say and everything to do
I'm taking up the old and i'm giving up the new
Leaving all our earthly faults to the gravedigger
Complications that would make a wise man snigger
All we can hope for is to be more facts & figures
Dead on arrival after pulling your own trigger
Everything to say and everything to do
Taking up the old and giving up the new
Everything to say but there's nothing else to do
I'm taking up the old and i'm giving up the new
In control, out of control
Out of control.

Fondu

Lemon sorbet, macaroni, port n lemon, ravioli
Artichokes
Cheese and ham, rancid pickle, ham & piney, mozzarella
Garlic bread
Olive pits, strangled spaghetti, twisted tuna, strange as scrambled eggs
I'm just, in fact, this Fondu.

I got a craving and i needed some of you
If you were me i would like to know what you'd do
If you had a craving and you needed some of you
Do i spend my money, do i try an' make do?
Take you with me for company
When i've got you the world doesn't seem so bad
